ISANGDAAN Journey Update 5: 80 Philippine Provinces Done!

Drum roll please…..

80 Provinces Done!

I say this with all pride and thankfulness that on the 80th Day of #ISANGDAAN Journey, I finished visiting all the 80 provinces and the 15 regions of the Philippines.

Hoooray!
Hoooray!

Yes, I’m still in the state of unbelief that I’ve been to the farthest North (Batanes); East (Davao Oriental); South (Tawi-Tawi); and West (Palawan) of the Philippine archipelago. Say what?!! A feat only a few can do or will ever try. Here’s the list Ivan Henares did- CLUB PH80 (Travelers who visited all 80 Philippine provinces).

REALITY BITES

But reality bites, day after day #isangdaan is nearer to its end. Its a mix of emotions- happiness and sadness. Happy because I’m just 19 days away from home :). Sad because I’m gonna leave the road soon 🙁 . But more than these emotional mixture, I’m excited! Excited for what will happen next- will I go back to work in a corporate setting? Will I do a bigger challenge elsewhere? Will I make it on TV? Is this the beginning of something bigger, greater or maybe the end of www.journeyingjames.com?

No more "hayahays" like this? tsk tsk tsk...

STOP WHINING!

I envy PNoy, him doing nothing is on the news. I envy N.Korea, they doing something wrong is on the news. I envy travelers who just check in to their hotels and order a tequila. How I wish I was born with a silver spoon. How I wish my parents are celebrities. Well, I learned in my travels that life is not fair and it will never be.

So instead of whining over and over again- here I am enjoying what life has to offer, living life to the fullest without using any credit card. I may not be born with a silver spoon, but hey, can you buy friends with money? Can you bring your millions in the afterlife. Hell no! So here I am- living my life in paradise (background music: Para-Para-Paradise by Coldplay).

Greetings from the white beach of Siquijor!

-journeyingjames

Finally, I invite you to watch the latest video I made just for you…

Please do share it on your Facebook account as a support to my journey. Salamat!
