22 Days to go before I head out of Laguna and go to KM.0 at the Independence Flag pole in front of Rizal Monument in Rizal Park.
Yes, I will be spending Day 1 of 100 in Manila, maybe have a walk around the historic fortress- Intramuros and eat lunch at Chinatown.
Anyone can join me on February 1.
ISANG UPDATE 2
After a week of sleeping late, I can now say that I already finished the 100-day itinerary. It was very very taxing but its worth it. I contacted some friends and locals so as to make the Isang Daan route possible (sometimes I think i want to extend it to 120days). I want to say special thanks to Dong Ho of EscapeIslands, Ding Fuelos of The Pinoy Explorer and Harry Balais of 7107islandstours.com.
Quick Overview of my Route:

that's the big map installed inside my room (aka journeyingjames HQ), i see it when i wake up in the morning and before i go to sleep. talk about passion and dedication! whew!
Day 1- Manila
Day 10- Pagudpod, Ilocos norte
Day 20- Banaue, Ifugao
Day 30- Marinduque
Day 40- Borongan City, Eastern Samar
Day 50- Surigao City
Please note that this is my ideal plan and I’m very much flexible on published dates. I will be publishing Days 60-100 on my next update.
I’m excited as ever as I continue to receive emails, PMs and invitations around the country.
TRIPLINE.NET
I was able to finish the ISANG DAAN route with the help of this awesome program I saw on the internet (plus Google Earth). Its an application that allows you to make your own itinerary and put your notes, photos, etc. It is very user-friendly and I like the connect the dots thingy. Check it out, it’s so damn cool!
Here’s the website: Tripline
