They said that a picture is worth a thousand words. So I will be sharing with you 24 photos I got from Sabtang Island (that would be 24,000 words?). Some don’t have captions so you are free to add your own description.

    si lolo since he is carrying something on his back, i will call it journeyinglolo kasi ung logo mo may lalaking naka-backpack 🙂 Awesome pictures especially if you only captured these on a point n shoot cam.

    basta Batanes talaga parang ibang dimension. Name palang iba na dating.lalo pag nakakita ako ng mga pics na ganito. makes me wanna fly there.now na!!!hahaha

    Sarap naman walang binayaran:) gustong gusto ko pumunta dito kaso nag-aalangan baka masayang ung 14k na pamasahe dahil biglang bumagyo or something.:p

    God I love the houses.. oh let me change that, i love everything i saw.. hai.. cant wait for next summer to come.. thank you for bringing batanes closer.. letting go of a big and happy sigh now (hai…)..

    sometime i wish i live in places like those.. where simplicity is like your purpose in life.. maybe when i get older pa.. maybe..

        yah… just the word “simplicity” is more than enough to make me feel contented in life.. just the word makes me feel rich at the same time..

        i look forward to the days when ill wake up in the morning and just smile because of the sunshine and the sweet breeze; and sleep at night with the last sight of the stars and the moon, or even just the fireflies.. i look forward to the days when i will be living life from the basics..

        you are really blessed to be witnessing so much of life.. i am really happy for you.. and reading all these puts a smile on my face as well, and at the same time, reassures me that life is full of wonders..:)

    manong james anung unang lugar puntahan sa batanes?wahh gustu ko malibot lahat ng isla ng batanes. tska pwede ba matulog sa stone houses?hehe

      i guess pwede matulog sa stone houses, talk to locals, they would love that idea.
      dont miss sabtang island. its the nearest island from the main batan where basco, the capital is.
