So, there was this night where I was scouring the internet for options on where to go before entering the Schengen area (I slept around 4:00am). Since I only have 88 days of approved stay in Schengen, I thought of other European countries where I can spend 12 days to make my trip another 100 days- #100DaysEurope. I’ll write about this more on the next blog, for sure. So keep posted.
For now let me tell you how I got my Armenian eVISA in just one day. It is so easy and I believe it is the easiest way to visit Europe if you can’t get the Schengen visa.
Documents you would need:
- Passport. Of course! I have a ordinary Philippine passport.
- Passport size photo
- Hotel booking, address and contact number
5 easy steps:
Visit Official Armenia eVisa website: https://evisa.mfa.am and check eligibility.
2. Check your email and verify that you applied of the eVISA.
3. Answer personal infos, purpose, date and duration of visit.
Review your details carefully, like 3-4times before submitting application. Read FAQs too.
I paid via Paypal which is great. You can also pay using Credit/Debit card.
5. Visa Approval.
Yeah! Download and check your eVisa (it is in PDF). I got mine after just 1 day. So fast! Make sure spellings are correct and the date are according to your travel plans. Thank you Armenia, love you! I got 21 days which is valid from June 25 – September 22, 2016. Meaning I can enter anytime between those dates and can stay up to 21 days.

My Armenia E-VISA says:
E-VISA is an official document permitting entry into and travel within Armenia.
E-VISA is an alternative to visas issued at Armenian diplomatic missions (consulates) and at the border.
You are strongly encouraged to print and bring along your E-VISA to avoid any inconvenience as the airlines and immigration authorities are likely to require the EVISA for verification.
With the approved E-VISA, there is no need to collect a physical visa sticker at the Armenian diplomatic mission (consulates) or at the border.

Now it is time to book plane tickets! I did a Manila-Dubai (for Php7,000/US$148) then Dubai- Yerevan, Armenia (for Php8,500/US$180). Now I’m waiting for my Georgia Visa since it is just a bus/train away from Armenia. I’m going to Europe! I’m going to Europe (next on the blog)!
