The past months has been crazy busy for me with the online work, tours and the start-up hammock business I just launched.
I almost had a travel over-fatigue that my body and mind screams REST. Gladly I booked a Palawan ticket a month ago, I was looking forward for a breather and a time to hibernate from my busyness.
San Vicente has charmed my eyes and heart so off I went straight from Puerto Princesa airport upon arrival. Thanks to my good friend Sir Jun of Mistah Travel & Tours (our partner travel agency) for bringing me and my surfboard to San Vicente’s Long Beach- a 14-kilometer white sand beach on the west coast of Palawan, Philippines.
He brought his kids with him and so I had travel buddies for my first 2 days in San Vicente. They pitched their tent while I hung my hammock inside an abandoned kubo fronting the beach. They left 2 days ago while I still have 2 remaining days here in paradise. Palawan continues to mesmerize the traveler in me.
I’m not doing much. As the title suggest I just chill and let time pass by. All I do is wait for the sunrise and the sunset, a little yoga and observe the richness of mother nature around me.
So far I saw a squirrel hopping from tree to tree, pairs of Scaly-breasted Munias building their dome-shaped nest and lots of big black bees. As I’m writing this, cicadas are doing singing their lullabies and I believe I’m hearing an owl do a bird call. Awesomeness!
Oh, I visited the Toursim Office earlier and ate halo-halo to cool my body. Hello summer! The sunsets where just lovely the past days and I wish I had the girlfriend with me as I stare at the setting sun.
On August, I will celebrate my 4th Anniversary Tour and is inviting everyone to join the celebration here in San Vicente, Palawan.
Registed and give yourself some REST. CHILL!
