Myanmar has left us spellbound! Ohhhh I can’t stop raving about this Southeast Asian country. Next to the Philippines I believe this country deserves a visit and I’m not talking about 3-4days but a week of more.
I was able to visit Myanmar (formerly Burma) just for a week last November 2013 from Mandalay to Bagan then finishing with Yangon. So glad I traveled with Callie who did a dance project while we roamed around the temples and stupas.
Mingulaba! (Hello!) You want to “kale? Kale!” (You want to dance? Dance!).
That is how we invite Burmese/Myanmar locals to join us in dancing. Some were shy at first but once Callie starts to show the moves, the smiling locals would join the craziness.
Whether in the temple, public market, boat or bridge, the streets we dance and shared happiness.
Callie made a simple dance video edit during her 2-week stay in Myanmar. I joined in some parts and really had fun dancing and letting loose.
