Read Part 1 here: Grateful for 2013, Excited for 2014
The first days of July was spent in Mati again. I then went to Jomalig Island to supervise the outreach program we have there and then flew to General Santos City for the Allah Valley tour in South Cotabato and Sultan Kudarat, man Lake Sebu is really amazing and culture is still intact. I went back to Mati spent the rest of the month resting in Laguna. Ohh before I forget, I had back-to-back TV interviews for GMA 7 too.
August came and I found myself again in La Union for some surfing then had a quick stopover in Baguio before heading back to Manila. Most of the month was spent in Davao for the Kadayawan Festival because of Marco Polo Hotel’s generous invitation. Then I went diving for the first time in Anilao, Batangas. I then flew to Surigao to continue writing my book “ISANGDAAN.”
September was a chill month. Still in Cantilan, Surigao del Sur for some beach bumming. Then I had a 4-day prayer and thanksgiving retreat at Malaybalay, Bukidnon. I thanked God for prosperity, the success of #ProjectJomalig and of course for the 3rd blog anniversary which was celebrated with friends and readers in Zambales.
October kicked-off at Legaspi City, Albay where I was invited to be one of the speakers during the National Convention of the Association of Tourism Officers of the Philippines. After that was a successive surf trips- Mati City, Gubat Sorsogon, Majestic Puraran Catanduanes then Baler.
November came quickly and I found myself going out-of-the-country again after 5 years of staying in the Philippines. I visited Phuket and Bangkok, Thailand and spend a week in Myanmar. It was a difficult time for Central Visayas especially in Tacloban because of Typhoon Yolanda so I dedicated 3days of November to help the survivors. I then went back home- Mati City, Davao Oriental.
December was a treat to myself. A surprise trip to Bali to get reunited to my travel buddy-turned-girlfriend Callie. I thought that it will be just a 2-week vacation but it turned out to be a pivotal moment of my life. Getting back to true path- making my journey a spiritual one with my partner- Callie. I skipped my flight back to the Philippines and instead decided to spend Christmas and New Year in Indonesia with the love of my life.
I know that 2014 will be spent outside the country but I would like to stay in Dahican Beach, Mati City and start living in my dream kubo.
I and Callie just left Rishikesh, India (yoga capital of the world) where The Beatles did yoga and meditation when they visited India. And are now in Varanasi.
I hope that you would continue to support the advocacy and I pray that I would be able to help you in your spiritual journey thru this blog.
May God’s blessings be upon you.
