How long have you been reading my spend-less-travel-more-adventure?
Whether you just found about this blog last night or you have been with me from the first step of this journey, let me say this from the bottom of my lovely heart,
“Maraming Salamat po at nakadaupang-palad ko kayo sa aking lakbayin. Saludo!”
Thank you so much for being with me in this journey called life. I salute you!
And yes, I’m celebrating my 3rd Blog Anniversary this month (serious blogging that is). Last year when I wrote the blog 2nd Year Blog Anniversary and Updates I was apologetic for not having some giveaways or blog contest. I guess I’m just not that into those kind of posts.
BEACH PARTEY, ANYONE? LET’S!!
But this year its different. Yep, I thought hard about it (like for five minutes, *kidding not?) and even consulted my business partners (naks, may business partners pa, take note plural with ‘s’). We thought of giving friends, readers and supporters a different way of celebration.
We thought of throwing a beach party (spell P.A.R.T.E.Y.). WOOOOOOHOOOOOO!
So on September 28-29, we will celebrate our 3rd Year of being online. Not only that, we are also celebrating the imminent success of a voluntourism program called #ProjectJomalig where we were able to help a small baranggay with addressing their malnutrition problem. They were #1 on the list of the most malnourished towns in the Philippines with 1 out of 3 kids. You see, this project makes me proud as a travel blogger. Who would have thought that a simple travel blogger would be used to somehow turn the situation around and I really thank the volunteers who braved the long and tiring journey just to be able to effect change in that small community in Quezon Province. You guys are “world-changers!”
So let’t talk about the “3rd Blogannniversay and Project Jomalig Thanksgiving Party” okay?
We are expecting 45-50 people for this event (yes it will be fun, a gathering of beach bums, friends and those who believe that travelers will change the world). Because we want this to be as small as possible we are only opening 20 slots (30 of the 50 slots are already reserved). It will be a 2-day of fun, friendship and fellowship over games, campfires, surfing and booze. So, yeah?
Yeah, c’mon! Think of campfires, chilling on the beach, surfing and unlimited good vibes! Now why limit yourself with imagination? Join the BEACH PARTY!
