I thank friends and loved ones who continually support me in my cause- voluntourism and eco-tourism. I also want to thank GMA News TV for giving me some airtime to promote the things that I’m passionate about.
So for posterity’s sake I’m posting this on my blog:
Last July 26 before I went to Baler for a Surf and Camp tour, I was interviewed by two crews from GMA News TV. First was REEL TIME and then unexpectedly, BRIGADA.
REEL TIME presents “ISLA JOMALIG”
This was their FB cover for the Jomalig episode.

Thanks Sir Ely Del Rosario, Ms. Shera Teves and the rest of REEL TIME crew! Thanks also goes to Ms. Lia del Castillo for connecting me to Sir Ely.
BRIGADA reports on “Dolphins in Captivity”
Then after just an hour, a researcher from Brigada contacted me and asked if I can spare some time for a short interview for their episode about “dolphins in captivity” because a week ago a baby dolphin died in Ocean Adventure Subic Bay, the same time I uploaded video of dolphins enjoying their freedom. I think GMA News TV saw the video so they interviewed me about my encounters with dolphins in the wild.
You can watch the complete episode below:
You can see me at 13:12 🙂
Here’s a BTS shot from my friend AG Saño of Dolphins Love Freedom whom I really respect when it comes to issues like these.
Thanks Ms. Gen Sta. Ana and the rest of the BRIGADA Staff for thinking about me while doing your research.
PS. I didn’t put any make-up on. The skin tone is natural- #surfer ‘m/
