Do you know that shades or sunglasses are important part of everyone’s summer outfit. Glad I had new shades courtesy of Spyder Philippines, just in time for my endless summer escapes.
So thanks to Team Spyder, I got the Spyder Air Elite and Spyder Mavic. Let me have a short review of the 2 sunglasses.
Spyder Air Elite
The Air Elite model is for sporty and outdoor people- those who are always on the go. I’ve been wearing it during my runs and beach escapades and I really love the product.
What I Like aboour Air Elite?
–Very light (almost weightless). It doesn’t bother me while running even if I get faster
–Interchangeable lenses. I love the blue and white combination and of course I use the brown lenses during late afternoons or even at night while on low lighting roads. Plus its polycarbonated which makes it almost crash-proof without losing its flexibility.
-White-framed. I don’t know but I think white-frame sunglasses has that added astig effect when used in sporting activity. It makes my face stand out among the crowd. Naks!
–Polarized lenses. Even with direct sunlight hitting my face, the shades don’t give glare.
–All-weather condition. Whether in direct heat of the sun, foggy condition or rainy season I can trust that it will continue to give me good vision. Indeed, its for Elite athletes who want to have an edge on their game.
It’s just sad I lost that shades in El Nido during one of our island hopping trips. 🙁
If the Air Elite is for sporty ones, this Mavic is more on the smart casual side. Party goers would love the shape of the shades too. I use this during client meetings in Manila or during my flights to look good even when I’m on my boardshorts and slippers. The shades make a big difference- “dagdag japorms.”
What I like about Mavic?
-Color. I like how it aids my sunkissed color- its brown compliments my skin tone.
-Smart Casual design. The shades’ framing just fits perfectly my face. My mom says I look great when I wear it with a polo shirt. haha
-Doesn’t break easily. I accidentally dropped it twice and it didn’t break. Once I just placed it inside my backpack without its case and it stood the pressure. Must be the polycarbon?
-Sleek and sexy. Do I have to explain this?
