I’m Missing the Hotels during Lakbay Norte 3

Be ready, I have  a confession to make.

As much as I like to spend the night inside my cocoon-like hammock, I also like staying at hotels. It’s also not a secret that I want to backpack Europe; so maybe when I get to England, I would look for a good cheap hotel and flight. What do you think?

Anyway, I’m really missing some of the comfy accommodations we had during the Lakbay Norte 3. For those of you who don’t know yet, Lakbay Norte is a media/bloggers familiarization trip to Northern Luzon with a purpose to rediscover its beauty. This year, I was blessed to be part of the action-packed adventures from Days 1-8. Ohhhh, what a tiring but happy excursion Up North.

As I shared in my previous post about The Best of Lakbay Norte 3, I miss staying at the hotels.

Here’s a rundown of the hotels we stayed in and a sentence or two why I miss them:

Las Palmas de San Jose in Tuguegarao, Cagayan

Why I miss this place? I love their food- Ilocano dishes like Dinakdakan and Pakbet. I love the hot shower, just perfect!

Roswell Hotel in Laoag City, Ilocos Norte

Why I miss this place? No frills hotel, very helpful and accommodating staff.

Rate: starts at Php1,200/night (good for 2pax)

Kahuna Resort in San Juan, La Union

Why I miss this place? Terrific view of the West Philippine sea during breakfast, comfy bed.

Rate: starts at Php6,000 (garden view, good for 2pax)

The Manor in Baguio City

Why I miss this place? The welcome tea was relaxing, I actually drank 4 cups coz’ they said its healthy. Best morning view from the hotel room and lovely breakfast!

Rate: starts at Php 5,500

La Maja Rica Hotel at Tarlac

Why I miss this place? No frills hotel, fast internet service.

Hotel Vida in Clark, Pampanga

Why I miss this place? Poshest hotel I ever stayed at that time, we just stayed at the junior suite and we even partied inside, we are more than 15pax and there’s still room for more.

Rates: starts at Php8,170, we stayed at Jr Suite which is Php 9,890

Note: All the hotels are equipped with WI-FI service which is a plus plus for travel bloggers.

Lakbay Norte 3- Rediscover the North is a series of adventures, unforgettable experiences, personal stories, food feasting and many more recounting the 8-day media familiarization tour to Northern Philippines.
