Photo Duel: Hammock Makes Everyone Happy

This will be a regular thing on my blogsite: Photo Duel- where I post 2 photos every Saturday.

It will be simple- 2 photos where you can compare and contrast. Tell me what’s better or what you like more. I will be putting a short description on each. Hope you like this new feature!

Let’s start with Hammock Makes Everyone Happy:

Tent City, Iligan // Tibiao, Antique

Hammock City. Snapshot by PinayTravelista at Tent City (I call it Hammock City) in Iligan City, 3 months after Typhoon Sendong claimed hundreds of lives. These are kids that lost homes, parents, siblings, loved ones. I can imagine them crying 3 months ago, but now they are all smiles. Must be the hammock?

Kids Try My Crib. This I took at Tibiao, Antique- these kids jumped into my hammock while I was resting beside the river. At first I was telling them to leave me alone (suplado lang), but then I gave up because they doesn’t want to get down. I ended up playing with them, we took a good nap that afternoon. You see my hammock fits 3. ;)

What do you like more? Any thoughts?

How about you, have you tried using a hammock?

tried to sleep in a hammock in calaguas-thou it was only an afternoon nap. :) I like the “kids try my crib” natural, at halatang makulit ung baby girl sa picture.

I like the second shot. We can see the expression on the kids’ faces more clearly so it tells the story (hammocks make people happy) better. :)

    Kids My Crib!

Ahahahahaha.. I know right?! Because I don’t like the reason behind the kids on their hammocks at the Tent City. If I could take them off of it and place them on their own homes (of which they have none, yet) — I would. The Tent City or Hammock City is heartbreaking, at whatever angle you look at it. So, I’d go for the other one. =)

I love the second Photo. The giggling smiles on their face explains everything. Yup I have a hammock and love staying there, however, I always get this feeling that my hammock would gave up on me “any monument”.. wew like, I know right??? weight issues lols..

maybe not the hammock, but the rope.

The second pic looks way better because the kids’ smile hides everything bad the situation brings:) I haven’t tried hammock yet but i always fancy having this traditional “duyan” in my imaginary “country life” home someday:) haha
