Bali is not only about surfing or the beach. Consider the safari and marine park in your itinerary especially if you are traveling with the family, I believe the kids will love this…

If you’re going to be in Bali and you’re looking for a fun time and the opportunity to see unique and exciting animals while in a safe and secure environment, then the Bali Safari and Marine Park is the place for you.  Providing far more than a zoo, you’ll get the chance to see animals in their natural environment all while learning fascinating facts about them.  You can get up close and personal with the safari animals, take in some great entertainment, visit a water park, see an aquarium, and enjoy a good meal – all in one place!

Safari Journey

Perhaps the highlight of the whole place, the Safari gives visitors the opportunity to see animals out on the open range from the safety of a safari tram.  An expert guide accompanies you as you travel through the safari and see a variety of animals, including elephants, hippos, lions, tigers, and much more.  If you really want to interact with the animals, there are also opportunities to ride an elephant, pony, or camel that you can book as part of a package for discounted Bali holiday deals. You can also attend a number of different animal shows or educational talks about the animals in the park.

Marine Park

The Marine Park has plenty to offer to those interested in marine life.  There is an aquarium which features a variety of different types of fish and sea life.  One of the exciting new things being added to the Marine Park is a Dolphin Encounter, which will allow visitors to see these gorgeous creatures up close and even interact with them.  Though it is not open yet, the attraction is coming soon.

Rides

Bali Safari and Marine Park also has a section called the Fun Zone, with amusement park style rides.  There are a number of rides for children, including classics such as a merry go round and bumper cars.  However, there are also plenty of rides that will interest older people as well, with everything from roller coasters to a log flume to the Jungle Cruise, a great way to observe some animals from the river.

Entertainment and Food

You’ll find entertainment like no other here.  Ever wanted to see elephants on parade?  Now’s your chance!  To get a taste of the local culture, you can enjoy watching a Balinese Dance Performance.  Even the food is above average fare for a place like this, and added to that is the environment you get to enjoy it in.  A meal at the Lions Restaurant allows you to enjoy your food while watching the lion enclosure.  There are also a number of other restaurants or places to get some food that offer high quality meals.

Overall the Safari and Marine Park is an excellent way to enjoy some time in Bali.  You can choose to explore at your leisure and take part in what interests you, or you can look into booking a package.  These might include a private tour, a meal at one of the main restaurants, admission to various attractions and activities within the park, and even a unique souvenir to take home with you.
